Joy. The feeling is fantastic. What brings it is so varied. Years ago, our Relief Society president gave us a joy journal. We were supposed to write in it each day about the things that brought us joy that day. So what has brought me joy today . . .
the clouds
spring is closer than not
my children practicing piano
lunch with Jon
countdown chains
my family . . . each and every person I can count as family
dusty . . . our cute, lovable, furry, dog
the color pink
the number on the scale today . . . 2 more pounds to preChristmas weight . . . hehe
good music
dark chocolate M&M's--both the peanut and plain varieties-though I didn't have any today precisely--just a longing--like a long distance relationship right now
lydia's smile
jonathan's toothless grin
cortney's kisses
matthew's teasing
ally's love
jon.
the temple being so close--love seeing it as I drive around town
our home
my friends
our quiet neighborhood
reading with Cortney
her thank you at Burger King today
the smell in deseret book
the Valentine balloons at Wal-mart
What has brought you joy today? Thinking about it just may bring an extra smile to your face. love me.

Thanks Kristin! Life is all about seeing the joy in the "little" things. It is those things that keep us going! Always good to get a reminder of that. :-)
i've been waiting for you to return to your little corner...thank you for such a glimpse into your life...i must say ally's love is very much part of my list...and cortney's sparkle in her eyes...and you, i'm so blessed to have you. have a great day honey.
Kristin, I don't even know where to start. Reading this brought a tear to my eye. I feel so strongly about finding joy in the little things and it brings me joy when others do, too. Today, you, brought me joy.
